Can Sculptra tighten loose skin on the arms?
Sculptra can improve the quality, firmness and elasticity of mild-to-moderately lax or crepey upper-arm skin by stimulating collagen and elastin. It cannot remove substantial excess skin and is not a substitute for surgical arm-lift procedures.
Is Sculptra for arms a filler?
Sculptra is better described as a regenerative biostimulator. Unlike a traditional hyaluronic acid filler, it is not used to create an immediate filled look. Its PLLA-SCA™ formulation stimulates gradual structural renewal within the skin.
How many Sculptra arm sessions will I need?
Most treatment plans involve three to five sessions, usually spaced 30–60 days apart. The upper-arm protocol uses 1.5 vials per arm per session. Your final plan depends on your skin and treatment goals.
How quickly does Sculptra work on crepey arms?
This is not an instant treatment. Improvements may become visible from around 12 weeks, with collagen remodelling and skin-quality changes continuing to develop over four to six months.
What happens after treatment?
Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness or bruising can occur around injection sites. Your clinician will explain preparation, aftercare and the less common risks during consultation. Always follow the personalised aftercare advice you are given.
Can Sculptra also treat the chest or décolletage?
Yes. The décolletage is one of the body areas included within Sculptra’s expanded EU MDR certification. Treatment is individually planned to improve skin quality, firmness and fine crepiness across the upper chest.
