About The Face Clinic

Chrissy is our clinic owner and aesthetic practitioner. Chrissy has over 30 years experience as a Dentist, and has spent the last 15 years having a special interest in Facial Aesthetics. Chrissy is an ambassador and trainer for Dr BK Training Institute, the leading facial aesthetics training service in the UK. Chrissy is one of the few aesthetic practitioners to hold certificates in both the safe use of botulinum toxin and the safe use of dermal fillers, awarded by the Royal Society of Public Health. She is also the winner of several awards in Facial Aesthetics.

We asked Chrissy why she opened The Face “I wanted to provide my clients with a safe and clinical environment where I could dedicate time to listen to their concerns and discuss bespoke treatment plans that would help make them feel fabulous. Client safety and confidentiality is my priority, I feel it is my duty to continue to learn and build on my extensive knowledge to ensure we, as a clinic, are known for offering you the latest techniques and treatments, with the highest standard of service.”

Abi is our full time Skin Therapist. Abi has worked in skincare for nearly 15 years and has extensive knowledge in how to treat all skin concerns. She is a ZO Skin Health Skin Specialist. She also holds an NVQ Level 4 in Laser Treatments as well as an NVQ Level 4 in Microblading.

We asked Abi why she liked working at The Face “I joined The Face because I wanted to work in a clinical environment, not in beauty. I feel that as a team we have researched and invested in the best treatments and training there is to ensure we can offer the best advice and results to our clients. I feel that we stand above the rest because of the time and care we give our clients, I never feel rushed to treat clients, as a team we encourage quality of treatment and advice over quantity of people through the door. I also love my colleagues as if they’re family and always leave work smiling!”

“Having been a teacher in the beauty industry for over 25 years it was no surprise to find myself migrate back into the clinic environment. Since having my son I have worked part time as a teacher freeing me up to work hands on within the aesthetics industry. Skin Care has always been a passion of mine and continual training has kept the passion alive. It also enables me to share good practice with the future of our beauty industry. Chrissy invited me to join The Face team over five years ago now. Having witnessed first hand the high level of professionalism and hygiene within the clinic and sharing the same core values, I knew this was the place for me. I love working at The Face. It gives me the opportunity to do what I do best, working with the latest equipment and technology. The whole team of staff are a joy to work alongside and make a great night out at Christmas.“

Karen is our Clinic Manager, you will find her on front desk and will often be the first person you speak to when you call. Her job is to ensure the day to day smooth running of the clinic. We asked Karen which of her many hats is her favourite.

“Without a doubt, the favourite part of my job is looking after our clients. Many of our clients are really nervous when they first phone or visit the clinic and I think it is so important to build a relationship from that very first conversation so they feel listened to and reassured. Sharing their journey from their first initial consultation through to regular treatments and seeing their confidence grow is so rewarding. We are so lucky to have such lovely clients here and as a team we love to spend time chatting with them, in fact we chat so much it doesn’t really feel like I’m coming to work!"
